Darrel Anderson, President

​​Darrel Anderson is president of Conformance Technologies. A sought after consultant and industry expert,

Anderson has more than 25 years experience in the payments and privacy industries. He has provided

advice and guidance to some of the largest processors, gateways and retail merchants in the world.

Previously, Darrel was executive vice president with Compliance Solutions and Resources (CSR), a

consulting company, and was senior vice president of strategic partnerships for TSYS, a worldwide

payment processor and merchant acquirer. 

Earlier in his career, Darrel served as vice president of sales for SITEL Worldwide, a global business

process outsourcing leader. He also held a number of senior level positions with the Canadian Imperial

Bank of Commerce, a leading North American financial institution, including management roles in issuing, acquiring, payments, product development, marketing and  channel management, and was selected as a chairman's award winner three times - the only employee to achieve this honor.

While working in the Caribbean, Darrel developed a number of independent sales organizations and generated business in 11 countries. He was instrumental in creating the first touch screen ABM program in the region, and developed the first linked debit switching systems between banks in the West Indies. Darrel was a member of the board of directors of CARIFS (Caribbean Integrated Financial Systems Network) and of CariCard Services Ltd., the largest independent credit card processing corporation in the Caribbean. 

Anderson is a fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers, a fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute and a fellow of the European Privacy Association. Through the International Association of Privacy Professionals he holds both the CIPP/C and CIPP/US designations. He is active in the Electronic Transaction Association (ETA) community, holding the Certified Payments Professional (CPP) designation, and has been a panellist, program speaker and session leader at ETA events, as well as a volunteer on ETA committees. Anderson has also been a featured speaker at National Retail Federation CFO forums, is a Direct Marketing Association (DMA) guru, and has served the United Way as a cabinet member in the leadership giving program.

​Paul Nowling, SVP, Products & Technology

Paul Nowling is responsible for the development and day-to-day operations of Conformance technology 

offerings, as well as ongoing product maintenance, enhancement and support. He works closely with

client and partner organizations to ensure complete satisfaction. Nowling brings more than twenty-five

years of experience in the information technology field to the company, with substantial experience in

all facets of the software development lifecycle as well as network management and security.

Prior to Conformance Technologies, Nowling was responsible for the design, development, implementa-

tion and ongoing management of systems in the commercial, legal, medical device, healthcare and credit

card security industries. He served as pre-surgical care management system product manager for DocuSys,

was director of professional services for Prompte, and was a senior project manager for Abbott Laboratories.

Nowling has earned the prestigious Certified Information Privacy Professional Information Technology (CIPP/IT) designation.
